Content

This course consists of lectures with laboratory practice on helminthic infections, especially gnathostomiasis, neurocysticercosis, angiostrongyliasis Serodiagnostic techniques are:

 

  1. Indirect ELISA,
  2. Immunoblot
  3. SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (single percent and gradient gels)
  4. Blotting technique
  5. Antigen-antibody reactions
