Training Course
Short Course in Human Resource for Health (HRH) Management
May 19 – 23, 2008
Course Description
Even after a century of spectacular health advances, the world still faces interlocking health crisis with promising health programs and health services facilities failing. One of the reasons for this is the failure of health systems and health institutions to manage and support their valuable HRH. On the frontline, we see overburdened and overstressed health workers - too few in number, without the support, they so badly need- losing the fight. Considering that the Philippines is now committed to a 25 year HRH master plan, government and private health managers will benefit from learning how to mange HRH resources from recruitment to succession.
