Objectives

At the end of the course, the participants will get basic knowledge on statistics and able to use SPSS program for descriptive and in-depth statistical analysis.

 

The participants will

• Have the knowledge on basic concept of data analysis
• Be able to conduct several tecnique of descriptive statistics
• Be able to conduct several basic inferential statistical test
• Have the skill to operate statistical computer program for basic descriptive and in-depth statistic analyses

• Descriptive statistics & Graphic
  Probability, Sampling distribution and Estimation (SE, CI, DF)
• Concept of statistical analysis
• Test for categorical (nominal and ordinal) data
• Alternative test for categorical data
• Statistical test for differentials between means
• Statistical test for differentials between proportion

 

BIOSTATISTICS II

• Sample size and sampling technique
• Non-parametric Test
• Stratified analysis for case control and cohort studies
• Test for 2 continuous variables (Correlation and Regression)
• Mutiple linear regression
• Logistic regression
• Analysis of covariance
• Handling confounder in sata analysis
